The “West Coast Women” was designed by west coast native artist, Roy Henry Vickers.

She signifies the nurturing, caring and protective nature of the women in the native culture. Her caring and protective hands are guiding everyone for a safe quest and journey. The open hands are to signify the global concept of community and that all are welcome.
