The “West Coast Women” was designed by west coast native artist, Roy Henry Vickers, and she signifies the nurturing, caring and protective nature of the women in the native culture. Her caring and protective hands are guiding the pullers on a safe quest and Journey. The open hands signify the global concept of community and that all are welcome.
